Good morning

Just a reminder of today’s online service at 11 a.m. which will be live streamed via the website (www.newwellwynd.org.uk) and the church facebook page.

This week we are collected tins of fish and long-life semi-skimmed milk.  I will be taking donations down to the food bank on Thursday morning so if you could get the donations of food to the manse by then.  Many thanks!

“Delve in at 12” continues on Wednesdays at 12 noon.

I am delighted to say that I will be handing a cheque into Mavisbank School tomorrow for just under £1500.  Some late donations will be added to that at a later stage.  Many thanks to all who bought the book and/or donated to this good cause.  All at Mavisbank are delighted by the generosity of New Wellwynd.

I am in the throws of preparing readings and reflections for Lent and would like to know (a) how many people would be interested in an electronic version of it and (b) how many would prefer a hard copy?

I am co-ordinating a small group from Presbytery planning a time to remember on 23rd March which is a year since the first lockdown was announced.  The national church and their ecumenical partners are looking to hear what we are thinking because at long last there is a move to remember those who have died and those who are grieving in strange and difficult times.
