Today:

SUNDAY 11th FEBRUARY 2024:

Morning Worship begins at 11:00 a.m. and will be led by Eleanor Hamilton, our Probationer Minister.  

The Tea Fellowship will be available in the hall at the close of the morning service. Please come round and share extended fellowship with each other.

 

TUESDAY 13th FEBRUARY 2024:

The CAMEO Group meet in the Session Room at 7:30p.m.  On this occasion, the speaker is George Randall.  All welcome.

 

WEDNESDAY 14th FEBRUARY 2024 –

Our mid-week service Delve in at 12 takes place at 12 Noon.  This service will be led by Eleanor Hamilton, Probationer Minister. All Welcome.  Tea / Coffee are available in the large hall thereafter.

 

THURSDAY 15th FEBRUARY 2024 –

The Choir meet in the Session Room at 7:30p.m..  If you are interested in joining the choir please come along.  You will be made most welcome.

 

FRIDAY 16th FEBRUARY 2024 -  

The SNACK BAR is open from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m..  Last orders 12:45p.m.

The NEARLY NEW opens from 10:00 until 12 Noon today.

The CHURCH QUIET TIME will be open from 10:00a.m. until 12 Noon.

The Art Club  meet at 2:30p.m. in the upper hall.

The In-Stiches Craft Group meet today.  If you are interested, the group meet in the Session room from 10:00a.m. to 12 Noon – you will be made welcome.

The Senior Circle have their meeting today. Doors open 1.30pm for tea and coffee. The meeting starts at 2:00p.m..  The speaker this afternoon is  Jim Nimmo. You are assured of a warm welcome.

 

WEDNESDAY 21st FEBRUARY 2024 –

Our Lenten Bible Study starts at 7:30p.m. until 09:00p.m. in the Session Room. Each week’s study will be based on material from “Encountered: Meeting God in Ordinary Places- A Lent course” by Claire Benton-Evans.  This will be under the leadership of Eleanor Hamilton.   Please support this venture – you will be made most welcome by the group.

COFFEE MORNING

The Coffee Morning held on Saturday, 3rd February raised the sum of £98.00.  Thanks to everyone who contributed in anyway on the day.

FOODBANK DONATIONS -

Our collections for the foodbank continue – items urgently required for this week are the following - tinned custard, tinned rice and tinned fruit.

NEW SAFEGUARDING INTRODUCTORY TRAINING COURSES

All volunteers who work with children & adults, who are a member of the PVG scheme and have not undertaken refresher safeguarding training in the last 5 years must book on a refresher course. 

This requirement does not apply to you if you recently completed the training in November.

The Senior’s Outing organised by CAMEO has provisionally been pencilled in for the last Saturday of April.  Planning is currently underway and in the coming weeks invitations will be issued with full details – watch this space.

BEATSON CONCERT – SUNDAY 25th FEBRUARY 2024 @ 4:00 P.M.

Robbie’s dream was to have the RSNO in some shape and form performing in The New Wellwynd and this gem of an idea has come to life in partnership with the RSNO and Beatson Charity.  Robbie, like many, is indebted to the Beatson for their care and expertise in difficult times. 

This memorable, perhaps even once in a lifetime opportunity, is taking place on the afternoon of Sunday, 25th February.
