The Choir meet for practice in the Session Room at 7:30p.m..

The SNACK BAR opens from 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.. Last Orders at 12:45p.m..
VESTRY TIME – Rev. Maggie McArthur will be available in the vestry from 10:00a.m. until 12 Noon.
The ART CLUB meet in the Upper Hall from 1:30p.m. – 3:30p.m.. This will be the last meeting for the current session.
SATURDAY – 16th MAY, 2026
The End of Session Recital will be held in Cairnlea Church on the above date at 2:00p.m.. The organist who will give the recital is John Kitchen (Edinburgh City Organist). See poster in Crush Hall.
Discussions are currently underway that the LSO opening recital for their 2026/2027 Session will be held here in The New Wellwynd – watch this space.

The FAMILY MEAL INVITATIONS for the next SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION to be held on SUNDAY 14th JUNE 2026 at 11:00a.m. and on WEDNESDAY 17th JUNE at Delve in @ 12 will be available in the CHURCH OFFICE for Elders and District Visitors to uplift.
Items for inclusion of the June Edition of The New Wellwynder covering the months of JUNE, JULY and AUGUST should be with the Editor – George Randall by today.

The Funeral Service for MR. DEREK HAMILTON takes place at HOLYTOWN CREMATORIUM at 1:30p.m..

New Monkland Community Songsters will be presenting their 'Spring Into Summer, 2026 Concert' in New Monkland Parish Church, Glenmavis on Tuesday, 19th May, 2026 @ 7.30 p.m.
As usual, entry to the concert will be free with a donation of food for Airdrie Food Bank. So get the date in your diaries and come along and enjoy some feel-good music and song while helping a great cause at the same time. See you there.

St. Columba’s is holding a Singing Afternoon celebrating PENTECOST starting at 1:30p.m., to which we’ve received an invitation to join them. There will be the singing of familiar and new songs, followed by a cup of tea and home baking. If you are free, please make room for it in your diary.

As has been previously intimated, if you know of anyone who has recently been in hospital or might require a visit from the Minister, please complete the Yellow Contact Form and hand this to Maggie, or place in the box in the Vestibule.
Cards are available in the Vestibule or in the Information Stand in the Crush Hall.
Maggie will then arrange to visit as time allows.
