Elders are asked to pick up their Family Meal Invitations from the Church Office for the next Sacrament of Holy Communion which will be held on Sunday 1st. June 2025 at 11:00a.m. as part of morning worship and at Delve in @ 12 on Wednesday 4th June 2025.

Our Locum, Les in now on holiday for the next few weeks.  For urgent pastoral matters, please contact David Walker in the first instance.

Our Bread and Cheese Lunch for Christian Aid takes place in the Large Hall at the close of the service today

 

TUESDAY 13th MAY, 2025

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Margaret Brown takes place in Holytown Crematorium at 3:30p.m..

There will be a meeting of Holiday Club Staff in the Session Room at 7:30p.m. to make initial plans for this year’s Holiday Club.

 

WEDNESDAY, 14th MAY, 2025

Our mid-week service Delve in at 12 is today at 12 Noon and will be led by Rev. Alister Weighton, Minister of Coatdyke Congregational Church.

Tea / Coffee will be available in the large hall following the service.

 

THURSDAY, 15th MAY, 2025

The Choir meet for rehearsal at 7:30p.m. in the Session Room.

 

FRIDAY, 16th MAY, 2025 - 

The SNACK BAR opens from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m..  Last orders 12:45p.m.

The NEARLY NEW is open from 10:00a.m. until 12 Noon.

Can you help ?  The NEARLY NEW TEAM are looking for donations of Kitchen Items and Bric-a-brac.

The ART CLUB meets in the Upper Hall from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m..  All welcome.

 

SUNDAY, 18th MAY, 2025 –

Morning Service will be held at 11:00a.m.  The service will be led by Rev. Rob Jones.

 

TUESDAY, 20th MAY, 2025 –

The In Stitches Craft Group meet in the session room from 10:00a.m. until 12 Noon.  If you are interested – please come along, you will be made most welcome.

FOODBANK DONATIONS -

Our collections for the foodbank continue – items urgently required for this week are the following – tinned custard, tinned rice or tinned fruit.

SATURDAY COFFEE MORNING –

The Monthly Coffee Morning held on Saturday 3rd May raised a total of £138.00.  Many thanks for your continued support of the coffee morning.  The next Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday 7th June 2025.

SCHOOL CHAPLAINCY – AIRDRIE ACADEMY – FATHER’S DAY

The Support staff will be gathering small gifts for Father’s Day that will be offered to a group of pupils.

Over the next few weeks, a box will be provided to receive any small Father’s Day gifts (Shower Gel, socks etc), gift bags or cards.  If you are able to help and contribute towards this appeal – anything donated will be gratefully received.                                                                             THANK YOU
