TUESDAY 24th OCTOBER –
The In Stitches Craft Group meet in the session room from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon. A warm welcome awaits you.
At 1 :30p.m. the doors open for tea / coffee and a chat. The Senior Circle starts at 2:00p.m. and the speaker is Maureen Patterson and her topic is ‘Dolls around the world’ All Welcome.
WEDNESDAY 25th OCTOBER –
Our mid-week service Delve in at 12 takes place at 12 Noon led by Mrs. Margaret Jack. All Welcome. Tea / Coffee are available in the large hall thereafter.
THURSDAY 26th OCTOBER –
Choir rehearsals continue at 7:30pm in the session room.
FRIDAY 27th OCTOBER –
The SNACK BAR opens from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m.. Last orders 12:45p.m.
The NEARLY NEW opens from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon.
The CHURCH QUIET TIME will be open from 10:00a.m. until 12 Noon.
The ART CLUB meet in the large hall from 2:00p.m. until 4 :00p.m.
SUNDAY 29th OCTOBER –
Morning Worship begins at 11:00 a.m. and will be led by Revd. Lilly Easton. All Welcome.
The Tea Fellowship will be available in the hall at the close of the morning service. Please come round and share extended fellowship with each other.

HARVEST THANK OFFERING
The thank offering on Sunday, 1 October (Harvest) raised the sum of £600 for International Justice Mission UK (Scottish charity no. SC049311) in support of their work in seeking to end modern slavery, human trafficking and violence against women and children. Thanks to all who contributed.

Our collections for the foodbank continue – items urgently required for this week are the following - diluting juice, cereal, porridge and long life milk.

SAFEGUARDING TRAINING -
Volunteers within the congregation are reminded they are required to complete refresher training every 5 years. Training dates are shown in the Safeguarding Training news item on the church website – www.newwellwynd.org Sign in and select the date most suitable for yourself. All courses are online and will be booked fairly quickly as the training is available to the whole Presbytery.

Jackson Church have been in touch to say they are organising a bus to the Metro Centre for some Christmas shopping or just a day out.

Bus leaves Jackson at 8:00a.m.;
Bus leaves Metro Centre at 6:00p.m. normally home by 9:00p.m..
Cost between £12.00 - £25.00 depending on numbers on bus.

The New Wellwynd Church Choir and the Gleniffer Singers participate together in a Christmas Concert with a variety of Christmas Music.

VACANCY ARRANGEMENTS
This morning’s worship – and that for Sunday 29th October – will be led by the Revd. Lilly Easton and we welcome her back amongst us.
