TUESDAY – 5th AUGUST, 2025
At 1:30 p.m. the last of the Senior Circle Summer Gatherings will take place. Arrive and leave as you please. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits will be available, but feel free to bring a snack if you haven’t had lunch. The gathering closes at 3:00p.m..
Our previous gatherings have been well attended and have helped us keep in touch during the summer months. You are invited to the last of the gatherings, whether you are a Senior Circle member or not and a warm welcome awaits you.
On Tuesday 9th September sees the start of the 2025/26 session of the Senior Circle. Watch this space for more details.

FOODBANK DONATIONS
Our collections for the foodbank continue – items urgently required for this week are the following – tinned rice, tinned custard and tinned fruit.

AIRDRIE ACADEMY – CHAPLAINCY PROJECT
In preparation for the start of the new academic year in August, the Support Staff have asked for donation of stationery items for pupils (pens, pencils etc….) and also water bottles. Donations can be left in the box at the front door. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Elders and Visitors are asked to note that their Districts containing the Family Meal Invitations for the next celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion on Sunday 7th September at 11:00a.m. and Wednesday 10th September at 12 Noon will be available next Sunday – 10th August 2025.

Items for the September Edition of The New Wellwynder should be with the editor – Mr. George Randall no later than Sunday 17th August 2025. We look forward to receiving information about organisation start dates and the plans they have over the coming session. Newsletters will be available for distribution on Sunday 24th August 2025.

THE NEW WELLWYND PARISH CHURCH @ 30
The 17th September 2025 will see the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Congregation. At its last meeting the Kirk Session agreed to mark this milestone celebration.
At morning worship on Sunday 14th & Sunday 21st September, 2025, we will welcome guest preachers to participate in the service.
At the end of these services, there will be a time for fellowship and light refreshments in the Large Hall. More information will be available in the newsletter.
