SERVICE OF FLOWERS – As you are aware, members of our congregation receive the gift of flowers which have been donated by yourselves and brighten our Sanctuary each week at the morning service.
The Flower Convenors – Margaret Jack and Avril Cockburn are looking for your help. If you hear of anyone in our fellowship who have been in hospital, or are ill or under the weather etc., and would feel uplifted by receiving a bouquet of flowers showing that we are thinking of them, then please speak to Margaret or Avril at any time and they will endeavour to ensure that these folks will receive the church flowers at some point in the future.

YELLOW CARDS – As you may be aware, Les as our Locum Minister is employed for a Sunday Service and 2 days per week. Les’s 2 days include preparation time for services, or funerals as they arise, but he can also make the occasional visit to the congregation.
To this end, if you are aware, of any congregation member who would benefit from a visit, then please complete a YELLOW CARD – which can be found in the Vestibule and hand this to Les. Depending on Les’s available time in any week, he will try and schedule a visit at an appropriate time. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

OUR STAINED GLASS WINDOWS -
During a routine inspection, the Congregational Board have been advised that three of our Stained Glass Windows on the pulpit side of the church will require some urgent repair and maintenance work to be undertaken. Unfortunately, this work cannot be done within the building here, so each window will be removed to the contractor’s studio one by one over a period of time.
The first, the Nativity window (second window from the back) will be removed in the coming week and will be in the studio for up to 6 weeks.
This work has to be undertaken by a specialist and is time consuming, so comes at a large cost to us. As a result, some other projects or work may have to be rescheduled to a later date.
